Grandstand Sellout Confirmed for 109th Running of the Indy 500

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will roar to life this Sunday with every seat filled, as officials confirmed a complete sellout of all reserved grandstand and suite tickets for the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge.
“With the sellout of all reserved seats, the greatest fans in sports have shown up in full force to celebrate the biggest day in motorsports,” said J. Douglas Boles, president of INDYCAR and IMS. “Around 350,000 fans will witness the Indy 500 live, cementing its status as the ultimate racing spectacle.”
Fans still hoping to join the massive crowd can purchase:
- Race Day General Admission tickets for the IMS infield at IMS.com or in person at the IMS Ticket Office.
- Limited reserved seat tickets through the IMS Official Resale Marketplace until Wednesday, May 21 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Tickets also remain available for Miller Lite Carb Day, Legends Day presented by Firestone, and Coors Light Snake Pit wristbands (with a General Admission ticket).
This year also marks a broadcast milestone: For the first time, the Indy 500 will air on FOX, with no local blackout due to the sellout. Coverage begins at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday, with the green flag expected at approximately 12:45 p.m. ET.
The stage is now set for an unforgettable Race Day as the NTT INDYCAR SERIES battles for racing’s biggest prize.
