AJ Foyt Racing Partners with Homes For Our Troops for 2026 IndyCar Season

AJ Foyt Racing has announced today (11th November 2025, Veterans Day) that it will partner with Homes For Our Troops in 2026, alongside new partners Hendricks Commercial Properties and Geronimo Hospitality Group.

Homes For Our Troops(HFOT) is a publicly funded nonprofit organisation that builds and donates adapted homes throughout the United States to severely injured post 9/11 veterans.

A long-standing relationship between the team and HFOT started in 2022 thanks to Hendricks Holding Co., Inc, the parent company of former partner ABC Supply Co., Inc. Over the past four Indianapolis 500 campaigns, the team were able to help raise nearly $15 million for the cause, something that clearly means a lot to the team.

‘We’re committed to raising awareness and money, lots of it, for out severely injured post 9/11 veterans, who’ve sacrificed so much for this country to protect the freedoms we enjoy’ said team president Larry Foyt. ‘What an amazing program. We couldn’t be prouder to continue our long relationship with the Hendricks family as well as continuing the inspiring experience with Homes For Our Troops. I cant say enough about how much Diane Hendricks and her daughter Konya(Hendricks Schuh) have supported our team and Indycar over the years. It will be an honour to represent their hospitality and commercial properties brands’.

‘For us, it’s just really exciting to be a part of it. We just can’t wait for Santino to win probably 16 out of 17 races, I would guess this year (smiling), just be there to support not only Homes For Our Troops but certainly Santino, Larry, the whole team as well. Really excited’ said Rob Gerbitz from Hendricks Commercial Properties.

Team President Larry Foyt also mentioned how much this announcement meant to the team when it comes to on track performance: ‘I definitely feel more pressure this year because we want to perform for the Hendricks and for Rob and for Homes For Our Troops’. We’ve got a lot to do on track and off track, but it’s really exciting. It’s just going to be a super fun year’. HFOT is clearly going to give an added motivation for the whole AJ Foyt Racing team in 2026 as they look to progress and grow in the NTT Indycar series.

‘I’d say over the last three 500s, carrying the livery, running the colours, Homes For Our Troops, its been amazing. I mean, its hard to describe walking out race day and rolling that car onto the track to fire off. It’s very different’, said Santino Ferrucci the driver of the No.14 AJ Foyt Racing car in 2026.

Ferrucci also emphasised his excitement for the upcoming season: ‘I feel good about what we’ve learned, how we’ve adjusted some cars. I’m excited to go to some new tracks this season, like Arlington and Phoenix. It’s always a good challenge for drivers when just a very small part of the grid has raced there. I feel good about a lot of things’.

AJ Foyt Racing recently announced Caio Collet as Ferrucci’s teammate for the 2026 season, alongside an Indy NXT campaign in partnership with HMD Motorsports.

Team President Larry Foyt is optimistic about the team’s ambitions in 2026: ‘Having both cars buttoned up, all the drivers, everybody ready to go, I feel like we’re in a good spot early in the off season here…we know what the goal is’. ‘Everything looks really good for next year it pick up where we left off’.

He also stated that the move to Indy NXT would be ‘really a great resource for us’, ‘you can really have a pipeline to keep your program healthy. That was the main reason we wanted to do it’.

A new meaningful sponsor, a strong two car driver line up and a new Indy NXT program is shaping 2026 into a very promising year for AJ Foyt Racing.
